Reverend Ted T. Fielland has been leading our congregation with dedication and warmth since 1997. He’s always happy to connect with members and visitors alike. Feel free to reach out to him via email at fielland@hotmail.com or by phone at (813) 787-8172. Pastor Fielland holds office hours throughout the week and is available throughout the week by appointment—just give him a call to schedule a time.
Join us for our Sunday Morning Service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the sanctuary at 212 Inverness Avenue. On the first Sunday of each month, we come together to celebrate Holy Communion, and all are welcome to participate.
Throughout the year, we hold Special Worship Services for meaningful occasions like St. Valentine’s Sunday, Ash Wednesday, Lent, Easter, Advent Sundays, Christmas Eve, and Member Recognition Sunday (held twice annually). We also honor key dates from the Church Calendar (such as Pentecost) and the cultural/national calendar (like Mother’s Day and Independence Day), reflecting on their significance in our faith and daily lives.
Our Church Council meets on the third Sunday of each month, unless it coincides with a holiday. The council is made up of dedicated members who guide and support our church’s mission:
Our choir, led by the talented Suzanne Reid, brings uplifting music to our worship services. Rehearsals are held on Mondays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 10:15 AM in the sanctuary. New voices are always welcome—no experience necessary, just a love for music and community!
Our Adult Bible Study is currently on summer break but will resume in the fall. Stay tuned for updates, and we look forward to diving into Scripture together again soon.
We are proud to support our community through various outreach efforts:
Our women’s group, Women of Wonder (WOW), meets several times a year to organize programs and activities that benefit the whole congregation. From potluck lunches and dinners to rummage sales, refurbishing projects, and church/yard clean-ups, WOW is at the heart of many of our vibrant community events.
Children are a cherished part of our church family! They begin Sunday Worship alongside their families and are invited by Pastor Fielland to the altar for a special children’s message. Afterward, they head to Children’s Church with Marsha Fielland, the pastor’s wife, before returning to join their families for the conclusion of the service.
For families with infants or young children, the Delbert Miller Nursery is located at the back of the main sanctuary. This peaceful space allows parents to care for their little ones while still seeing and hearing the service.
